Regina lost her cool and snapped.
"How dare you talk to me with that tone Clara. Did you forget your place"
Clara's eyes sparkled in delight and the corner of her lips curved into a mocking smile.
"What?! Did my words slit your pride, or maybe you are so shameless that you like throwing yourself on anyone for attention"
Clara was aware of Regina very well. She craved attention to the point that she didn't mind sleeping with any random person. The only exception was that he was wealthy enough to catch her interest.
Regina's lips twitched in anger. Clara's audacity to humiliate her boiled her blood and in the moment of rage, she raised her hand to slap Clara however stopped when she heard Adrian's bedroom door open.
