The mother and son duo continued talking until Mello dozed off to sleep on the ongoing call.
Clara couldn't help but smile admiring Mello's sleeping face lovingly.
"Good night Mello" she muttered kissing his face from the screen before ending the call.
Talking with Mello had always been the most important time of her day. His cute little voice would end up washing all her stress and she would feel better instantly. No matter how bad her day would be or how lost she would feel, Mello would always be her mood booster.
From the day she learned about her pregnancy, Mello was her only companion. She would end up talking with him expressing her laughter, sadness, loneliness everything.
There were times when she would miss Adrian terribly. Her mood swings would be at it's peak making her vulnerable and she would end you crying miserably. But as he grew bigger, he would make his presence known by kicking in her stomach and assuring her that she had him.
