Regina had taken a day off as she wasn't feeling well. She had a few episodes of vomiting since the morning, completely depleting her body to the point where everything began to spin.
"Derek, why are you still here? Weren't you supposed to get to work?" She asked, focusing her sleepy eyes on Derek as he spent time working on the laptop.
As soon as he heard Regina's voice, he turned his attention off the screen towards his woman and sighed.
"Gina, how am I supposed to leave you by yourself? Not only are you not feeling well, but you are also refusing to let me take you to the doctor. At the very least, allow me to stay by your side until you recover." Derek placed his laptop aside and turned to face Regina.
He was concerned about the sudden deterioration of her health, but she wasn't allowing him to take her to the doctor.
Regina could feel the concern lacing his voice and sighed for making him go through it.
