The tension inside the Emerson Mansion scared the shit out of Cassandra. She gulped as she studied her family members' grave expressions while seated.
"How did Cedric find out about the shares Theodore had under his name when he had no idea about them?" Edric said, revealing the most important information that had taken everyone by surprise.
Felix withheld the information about the shares from Edric and Adrian until he revealed his true identity to them. Regardless of how much they despised him, Theodore had some rights to his wealth as the son of his father.
"I do not believe there is a solution to this issue. We would be powerless to take any action unless Cedric chose to withdraw the shares." Emily said.
"And I doubt he would do that, considering he is here to take everything away," Agatha said, glancing at Felix.
"You went to meet him, right? Did he agree?" she asked.
