Adrian's expression darkened when Clara revealed to him the reason behind her lifetime employment agreement with Cedric.
Though she did not realize it, she was putting herself and the company in serious danger by working with him in the hopes of learning more about his life story and the motivations behind every step he has been taking toward them.
"And what makes you think by doing that you will get hold of every crime he's done?" Adrian asked breaking from his serious stature and leaned forward resting his hand on the table.
"You know how much I love you and still you go on taking decisions that could risk both yours and the baby's life. Don't you realize Cedric isn't a normal person? What if he finds out about your intention and harms you?" Adrian asked as he tried not to raise his voice on her.
Had he not discovered the information via Austin, it is possible that Clara would have kept it a secret from him until things became extremely difficult.
