Vincent's smile vanished as soon as he saw the startled expression on his assistant's face, and he stammered to clear his throat.
He handed Vincent a bag and said, "B-boss, I have made the preparation and here is the thing you asked for." Vincent quickly peered inside.
"All right, that is what I needed you for. Make sure you get paid before you leave," Vincent stated, and the assistant turned to leave.
Vincent had been planning on proposing to Hazel and finally, after a long delay, the day arrived.
Reaching his hand inside the bag, Vincent pulled out the box and opened it.
His eyes glisten with happiness as he imagines Hazel wearing this ring.
