"Gina, I have always been fascinated by your life. It was hardly noticeable to you." Derek's playful reaction only made Regina more incensed about his attitude.
"Is monitoring my life and providing transportation for me your way of getting over me?" she said furiously.
Derek's hold on the steering wheel tightened.
He had already pondered his behavior recently and came to realize it was hard for him to get over Regina, however, he can't express it openly, making this difficult for them.
"I swear, I wasn't stalking you." He explained in a calm voice, "I was just heading home from work when your thought crossed my mind."
"I do not believe you," Regina scoffed, not believing his words.
"It seems like you might never take anything seriously in life, the way you have been reversing your statements," she added.
Derek realized it was useless to persuade Regina to believe him, so he agreed, stalking her.
