"I-I... I tripped," Regina blurted out.
"Then why did you not tell me?" Alexander asked, his face twisting as he kneeled in front of her.
"Is it really that bad to need support?" he inquired, looking at her leg.
"When did this happen and where?" he asked, looking back at her.
"It is not that serious, Dad," Regina stumbled and pulled her leg back.
"It will recover quickly," she added awkwardly.
Alexander looked at Regina for a few seconds before standing up.
"How did this happen? Did you trip while catching the bus? Regina, I told you that you don't have to trouble yourself like this. However, you persisted in convincing me. Look at what you have gotten yourself into now."
Regina refused to accept assistance, even though Alexander was opposed to her taking public transit to get to their company. He understood why she wanted to do that but she should know that he would never allow her to get into trouble.
