Adrian and Clara made plans to explore the city the following day. They started with breakfast and went to the museum, as well as a few other places he thought Clara would enjoy.
"I just hope Hazel is doing fine. I should have gotten to know her before I left," worried Clara, who was unaware of the falsehood Vincent had told her about Hazel.
They had originally planned to take a yacht and tour the island, but Hazel's illness forced them to abandon the idea.
However, they were unaware that Vincent had lied to keep her from feeling guilty.
"It's fine; she needed rest and with us going there, she wouldn't have recuperated," Adrian reasoned.
"I think you are right. Maybe she will feel better by the time we get back." Clara agreed and soon they got into the car, driving further to the city.

After deceiving Adrian and Clara, Vincent breathed a sigh of relief inside the room, but he was still concerned about whether Hazel would wake up.
