Regina's face flushed at her question, but she nodded slowly.
The worker was none other than Suzy, a teammate who started working for the company the same day as Regina, but she did not receive the same kind of mentoring as she did.
"What are you doing here? Ops, I forgot that you got blacklisted." Regina's heart fell when she heard the crazy remarks, but she pretended not to care.
Regina had already assumed it. Ever since she was placed on the blacklist, people have been chatting behind her, speculating about her attempts to get under Adrian's good book and other misdeeds.
But now things were different, and she wasn't the Regina they knew before. She was a changed person who wanted nothing but praise from the people who believed in her.
"Yes, I got blacklisted so what? Don't people start fresh," Regina's blunt reply infuriated Suzy.
She was about to argue but another employee present there stopped her from saying a word.
