"Oh, how I wish our honeymoon hadn't ended," James nuzzled Abby, drawing her attention away from the task of cooking.
"Have you not had enough, James, that you still want to exhaust me every day?" Abby laughed at his comment.
It was the best honeymoon James and Abby had ever had, lasting longer than a week. If not for Clara's pregnancy, perhaps they would have continued their vacation without any thoughts of returning.
James tilted his head to look at what Abby was preparing and asked, "Do you need any help?" before offering assistance.
After the marriage, Abby had been feeling so happy. James had undoubtedly been the ideal partner, taking care of her and bringing her joy and comfort.
However, as she looked into the other facets of marriage, her mind wandered to the moment she had considered becoming a mother.
