"You shouldn't have rushed here in the first place after Benson already informed you about me." Alexander voiced his displeasure, knowing Clara wasn't considering her health, and came rushing to meet him.
"You should look after yourself, Clara. It's not good for you to stress so much," he added.
Alexander knew Clara was expecting, which is why he didn't disclose the reason why he decided to cut ties with Rachael at all. But seeing her desperation and worries, he wondered if he could be able to keep it from her for too long.
"But Dad, how do you expect me to turn blind eyes after knowing that something is bothering you? You have never isolated yourself like this; not even Mom died," Clara argued, offended by Alexander's reason for stopping her from visiting him.
