Cassandra took a deep breath and decided to break the oppressive silence while seated across Felix on the couch.
"Are we just going to sit silent?" She asked, glancing at Felix, who at last sighed and blinked.
"I wanted to know the reason behind you bringing up the topic of moving out?" Felix finally asked.
He finally asked the question that had been bothering him ever since it was brought up.
Giving Felix a long look, Cassandra said, "We should leave your lives before you all throw me and my son out. I realized that I was no longer needed here."
Cassandra stated her intentions clearly, though she was unsure of Felix's response in part.
She was aware that Felix had always supported her unconditionally and had a stronger affinity for her than Edric, even though she was the one who initiated the divorce.
