"What are you saying, Hazel?" Rosy asked surprisingly.
Hazel sighed and grabbed her mother's hand and continued," Mom, just for a day. Can't we delay the wedding. I really do not feel well."
Rosy scowled at her remarks and inquired, "Hazel, what is wrong? "Are you sick or something?" Rosy asked, realizing that Hazel did not appear to be feeling well. Her eyes were red and swollen even her skin had turned pale.
Hazel wanted to postpone the wedding until Vincent took care of everything, even though she knew it was a shady tactic.
"Mom, I just want to-" Hazel opened her mouth to say something, but Rosy's phone suddenly started ringing.
Gazing at the caller, Rosy swallowed and said, "It is Peter," as she swung the screen to face Hazel.
A dreadful silence engulfed inside the car before Rosy answered the call.
"Yes, Peter," she said, maintaining a normal tone of voice, while nervously glancing at Hazel.
