Abby turned silent for some time. Yes, she agreed with whatever James said but what worried her more was the time when Clara would learn that the letter she had received from an unknown sender was none other than her best friend Abby.
"I just hope we don't get caught before we succeed with our plan," she said heaving out a deep sigh.
James leaned back, admiring Abby's beauty. His year's yearning to have her as his girl was finally happening. Even though it was for the time being, he still felt happy because he vowed to make her fall for him at any cost.
He met Abby through, Clara who was dating Adrian at that time. Though she was her senior, Clara had immense respect for the girl. She was bold and fierce but also had a kind heart for those whom she cared about.
He tried to befriend her but she was too quick to understand his intention, with her plainly rejecting his friendship. After that, there came many instances where he tried to get close to her but she maintained a hand distance from him until a few days back, when he found something he wasn't allowed to learn.
It had been a few days since James came to Country J for a much-awaited vacation trip. But with his stay here, he came across Abby and started following her trying to catch her attention until one day, he found Clara and his entire world turned upside down with the revelation that he came to find in the process.
Just like Abby, he had hidden a very important thing from his only friend. But after Abby explained to him a few things, he decided to help her but on a condition. And that was to be his girlfriend.
Yes, it was a selfish way to make her accept him but that was all he could think about at that moment. And here he was helping her to keep her secret away from Clara.
"Okay now, let's not think about the future. We will do everything to keep it a secret until everything falls back into its place" he said getting up from the couch and started walking towards the kitchen area.
"Tell me what you want to have for breakfast?" he asked knowing very well that she rushed here to find him without having anything.
"Oh no, there is no need for that. I just wanted to check whether you are alive or not" Slamming her hand on either side of the couch, Abby stood up.
James blinked his eyes, watching her tease him, and then he heard," I will take my leave" she said and was about to walk from there when he dashed like a bullet and stopped her from taking a step ahead.
"What the hell-" Abby cursed glaring at James when he blocked her way.
"No, you aren't going anywhere, and that final" James hardly got time to spend with her after they got into a relationship. The girl was so busy with her work that she only called him or met him whenever they had to discuss something important.
'So cruel' he thought to himself. But now that he finally got a chance to spend some more time with her, he wasn't going to let this golden opportunity slip from his hands.
Giving him an 'Are you serious' kind of look Abby watched him with her brow arch.
James ignored her and held her wrist before dragging her back on the couch," Sit here like an obedient kid. I will quickly prepare something for both of us to eat" Without waiting for her reply, James quickly sprinted inside the kitchen leaving Abby in denial.
No one... she meant no one had ever tried to command her but this cheeky man not only stopped her from leaving but also warned her to stick on the couch and wait for him.

[Skylar Corps: Clara's cabin]
Just like yesterday, Clara wasn't allotted work but rather spent her time sitting on her comfy chair, swirling and wasting her time looking around the cabin.
After walking away from Adrian, she rushed to her cabin. She thought just like Austin, even she would be having a busy day. But after entering, she didn't find Austin anywhere. It had been more than twenty minutes but the man was yet to show up.
He was the one who was supposed to assist her but she could see him returning any time soon.
Just when she thought, there was no point in raising her hopes the phone on her table rang and she flinched looking at it in surprise.
Her heart began to race as she kept staring at the phone and her thoughts drifted to the incident that happened inside the lift.
"Is he calling me to talk about her behavior earlier?" she asked herself and was a little hesitant to answer the call but then she remembered how Adrian was prone to lose his cool made her quickly pick up the call and answer," In my office Miss Mathew"
Adrian's deadpan voice came from the other side and she gulped. "Y-yes boss" she stuttered and the call ended.
Getting up from her chair, she adjusted her look, composing herself, brushing away all the external thoughts, and stepped out of the cabin heading straight to the CEO's office.
Reaching, she stopped in front of the door before she raised her hand and knocked on the door.
"Come in" she heard Adrian's deep voice from the other side of the door and taking a deep breath, she walked inside.
"Is there anything I can help you with, Boss" Keeping a professional tone she asked.
Adrian raised his eyelashes looking at the girl in front of him and the corner of his lips curled up in amusement.
"Yes, you can," he said and leaned back leisurely watching her eyes grow a little wide
"Huh," Clara was taken aback by his words.
She could feel his eyes trail all over her body from head to toe and she started feeling uncomfortable.
'What was he thinking' she asked herself trying to see through his piercing gaze that heated her body, making her nervous.
"How about you move into my cabin, so I can have you all by myself"
Clara's mouth hung open wide and her eyes popped out of her socket, staring at Adrian smirking at her evilly. He was surely enjoying teasing her, she could feel it.
She was about to question his audacity when she heard him say," Aren't you my personal assistant" She seized back from the words that was about to ponder and bobbed her head absentmindedly.
"Then it's decided you will move into my cabin, keeping a close tap on my health and... me"
