Seated in front of Christopher, James clenched his fist and gave an awkward smile.
"I would have thrown you into a shark-infested sea, but since we get along well with your family, I know you will not be the kind to screw around."
The menacing tone made James wince, and his forced smile vanished in an instant.
After going with Abby, her mother took her away, leaving him alone with Christopher to be taken in his study room.
James had tried his best to remain as calm as possible but seeing his hawk-like eyes boring into him, the little bit of calmness within him flew away.
And now he was on the verge of breaking down.
