Vincent left the house after confronting his mother. While he remained confused, he also knew that he could not continue to accuse Cassandra in the absence of evidence.
Driving his car, Vincent then reached Hazel's place and waited for her to step out of the building.
Five minutes later, Vincent got out of the car as Hazel stepped out of the building.
Despite rolling her eyes, Hazel kept walking and stood in front of Vincent.
"Mr. Roger, is there anything else you could be doing instead of standing outside my house?" she said, crossing her hands.
Not that Hazel didn't like seeing Vincent being persistent to see her, but she also didn't want him to ignore his work for her.
"Can I talk with you?" Hazel's scowl disappeared when she heard Vincent's gentle voice.
"Please," he repeated, and she found it impossible to ignore him.
After receiving a nod, Vincent hurriedly opened the door to let Hazel inside, and they soon started driving.
