Adrian's face darkened as soon as he learned that Mello had been involved in the entire incident at the school, and he hastily took out his phone to call someone.
" Who are you calling?" Clara asked.
"Principal Thames," Adrian responded, and Clara swiftly grabbed the phone from him and hit the end button.
" Why would you do that?" Adrian was not pleased with Clara for preventing him from going up against the man who was meant to be Felix's closest friend.
Despite his son having to deal with all of this drama at school, he remained silent. But now Clara was getting in the way of him when he wanted answers.
With a deep breath, Clara sighed, "Because I already have to handle everything for the time being, and if we keep getting too involved, Mello will not be able to focus on his education." Clara explained.
Adrian remained silent, but it was obvious that he disagreed with Clara's assessment of the circumstances.
