Shooting a glare at Clara, Crystal walked to her son.
Taking one quick look at Rick's appearance, she asked, "What grounds are you putting up for your son?"
Crystal had already recognized the woman before her, but she remained unfazed because she was too proud to compromise.
It did not matter that she was the well-known businessman Adrian Emerson's wife—her husband was equally influential. Furthermore, they owned a portion of the school, so she had the right to take strict action against the one who bullied her son.
"You think my son is lying! Are you so blind as to how disheveled my son looks that you are supporting your son's behavior?" Crystal spoke with a great deal of conceit.
"Mrs. Mayor, please calm down and let us talk through it sensibly," Thames suggested, but Crystal refused.
