James did not understand what she was saying, but the next moment she gave him a sincere kiss, as though she needed to make sure of something.
Whatever this new feeling was, Abby knew it was not right and that if the past repeated itself, she might wind up a mess once more.
But why couldn't she stop herself? Why did she feel the need for more?
Abby's actions slowed down as her thoughts started to get confused.

She suddenly became overly sensitive, which made her look foolish.
