"Mello, you are the only one who could understand me." The sudden endearment left both of his parents speechless as Abby ran towards the kid and hugged him.
Mello gently pats his aunt's back, seeming to understand her suffering.
"It's okay, now don't cry. You look like a panda right now," Mello remarked, and then assisted Abby to her bedroom, leaving the two shocked individuals alone.
Adrian turned to face Clara and saw her shrug her shoulders, not realizing his son was a natural comforter.
"Mello grew under Abby's care. They have a bond that is beyond words," she finally replied in response to Adrian's question.
Adrian remained silent for a moment before giving her a nod.
"Come on, let's go. They probably do not need us around anymore." Clara glanced at the bedroom door and turned to leave. Without saying anything, Adrian also trailed behind his spouse and quickly left the premises.
