When Clara looked at him in confusion, Adrian clarified.
"Vincent hates losing to me. He is extremely competitive in that situation, and he is now warning me of his next moves because I subtly controlled him by jeopardizing his position."
"Wow, that is fascinating. You two seem to talk a lot in the brief moments of eye contact," Clara observed as his eyes darkened.
"You naughty kitten.Are you making fun of me?" he asked, squinting his eyes at her.
"Who said I mocked you? I am amazed that you two have finally reached an agreement on something." Indeed, she stated,
Clara realized Adrian did not really hate Vincent after learning about his motivation to get him back on track. In his heart, he wanted to help his brother reach his full potential and succeed in his chosen field.
"No way. We will never get along," Adrian mocked her, refusing to accept her statement.
