Clara and Adrian just started kissing, giving in to the pool of pleasure as it got deeper, but they withdrew when they heard Adrian's phone ring.
"Argh!" Adrian snarled, "Does anyone have a death wish?" making Clara laugh at his reaction.
Adrian reached over to the table to pick up the phone.
"Clause?" When he read the name, Adrian's expression completely changed and his eyes darkened.
"Did you get him?" Adrian answered the phone and asked right away.
Adrian received a perplexed look from Clara, who had no idea what was going on.
"Yes, sir, he is here," Clause replied.
"Okay, I will be right there." Adrian hung up the phone after saying.
Clara slowly got up from his lap and gave him a questionable look. "Are you going somewhere?" She asked.
Clara did sense the informant had something significant to say when she saw Clause's name on the screen.
'But why not on the phone and just call personally?' she wondered.
