"Yes, but I can not bear to see him seem at ease around you. It annoys me," Adrian complained in a childlike tone, unable to contain his distaste for Vincent.
"All right, now stop swearing and get to work." Clara quickly changed the subject and pulled Adrian to his chair, saying, "We have a long day, Mr. Emerson."
Clara could not help but grin, thinking his response was amusing. He simply cast her a pitying glance and rolled his eyes in resignation when she scowled.
"In addition, I have included a list of a few schools for Mello. Do you want to go through the names?" With a questioning arch on her brow, she asked.
Adrian had been considering it for some time, but he expressed it now that she brought it up.
"Clara, it occurred to me that we ought to enroll Mello in one of the schools we support."
