Clara stood stunned, watching Adrian pout his lips, until she heard him chuckle.
"Just kidding!"

Adrian stood up from his chair, grabbed Clara's bag from her desk, took her hand, and said,
"Let us go; Mello must be waiting for us." and dragged her out of the cabin.
When Clara saw their fingers entwined, she smiled and became excited as they quickly left the building.
The moment they got into the car, Adrian handed Clara a bag and said, "This is for you!"
Clara looked at the bag confusingly and read the brand name engraved on it and asked,
"Why are you giving this to me?"
Clara didn't understand why would he get something
"I felt like it," Adrian said, but Clara would not accept it.
"I apologize, but this is too much for me." Clara returned the bag to him and adjusted herself on the seat.
Adrian continued to look at her before resting the bag on her lap.
