Time passed but Clara didn't seem to let go of Mello from her embrace. She was content that Mello was fine and nothing happened to him.
"Mom, it's you who needs to eat the toffee's. You seem more worried than I was?" Mello promptly expressed witnessing Clara's concern.
Clara watched her son who passed her an assuring smile and her heart soothed instantly.
After Tony dropped Clara home, she didn't go to her apartment right away. Instead, she walked to the nearby convenience store and purchased Mello his favorite chocolates.
She wanted to cheer her son after whatever happened today.
Clara regretted not being with him, but she was glad that Mello managed to get away from that man before he could harm him.
After another five minutes, she finally let him go and Mello ran into his room with those toffees.
"We need to be careful from now on. That man is quite dangerous." Abby said passing Clara a glass of water and joined her on the couch.
