Clara's heart skip a beat as she stared in Adrian's unwavering gaze. Something about those determined eye asked her to believe in him once again.
'But was she ready?' A voice within her asked.
The pain from her past were too strong and weren't completely healed.
Unfortunately, Adrian was one who partly contributed to it . So,how was she supposed to let him step into her life just like that.
'It's impossible' she told herself and her expressions turned grim the next moment.
"Boss, we are home" Tony announced,breaking their stares and Clara quickly looked away.
Adrian sensed the tension in her demeanor and got out of the car, however the sudden interruption of the phone call stopped him taking a step further.
Adrian watched Clara step out too before he pulled out the phone from his pocket.
A gloomy aura instantly engulfed around Adrian demeanor and he answered the call.
