Clara quickly left the penthouse and soon reached her apartment only to find Mello and Abby waiting for her arrival.
"Momma, what took you so long?" Mello asked running to Clara as soon as he saw her.
"I am sorry, I was busy with work" Clara apologized and picked Mello in her arms before walking further inside the house.
"Why didn't you text me that you were on your way home? I thought you were still busy" Abby said showing her the screen.
Clara who was unaware of her message stared at the phone confusingly.
"When did you text me?" she asked clueless about the text.
"A while ago. You didn't see it?" Abby asked observing Clara's confused face and saw her shake her head.
Clara didn't remember receiving any message from Abby but now that she read the text, Abby indeed inquired about her arrival.
Abby noticed the confusion marred on Clara's face and decided to drop the topic now that she was home.
