Adrian lost his sense of thinking as his mind froze hearing the doctor's words. He couldn't bring himself to believe that Clara was on some kind of medication that helped her cope with her panic attacks.
"I suggest the patient rest for some time, making sure she won't skip her medicines even for a day. If this happens, then it will turn severe the next time she suffers another panic attack" the doctor said explaining everything and soon walked away from there.
Austin too followed the doctor, giving the two some time alone.
The deafening silence inside the room pulled Adrian out of his frozen thoughts and his head turned towards Clara.
She slept so peacefully, like a child enjoying her nap. However, behind that serenity held a kind of pain that Clara was hiding from him.
Adrian failed to see through her smiles and anger only to realize his Clara had been dealing with her demons the entire time.
