Raven sits alone in her bedroom reading the book of spells. As she reads further through the book, she comes upon the chapter that explains how each spell works. Her eyes become buried in the book since receiving new powers and now she must know how and when to use them. After reading a few more pages, she realizes that she must have a vast belief in her powers or they will not work properly. This is something she must get used to because she now has the power to control humans in a way that she never thought she could ever do. She must have a strong belief that what she has now is more than what she could ever expect.
Her life changed right before her eyes and now she must follow what she was given, if she doesn't then it will come back to haunt her. At first, she thought Circa just wanted to do this witchcraft stuff for fun, but now, she knows it's serious and Circa is nowhere to be found. Just when she needs her the most, she can't be found. With all the mysterious things happening to her, she must try to understand all of this witch stuff.
She closes the book abruptly and heads downstairs. She's not sure if she wants to follow all of this witch stuff, it could get her into trouble and she doesn't want that to happen. Suddenly, a force races through her body, it draws her body backward as she stands there, she becomes frightened because she cannot stop this force from moving her body. It draws her up against the kitchen wall, and instantly she has bad thoughts. But what she doesn't know is that this force is making her the opposite witch. The force is giving her powers to heal, protect, and fight off demons.
Something happened to her when they were all sitting around the circle. Raven doesn't know yet, but she is becoming a witch of good. Only she will find out when this force takes full effect on her. As for now, she must learn to have immense faith in what is going on around her. As her body becomes back to her normal self, she races outside, she starts heading to Allison's house, but she is led another way. She's led to a garden, a garden full of flowers, small trees, and different kinds of plants. She stops dead in her tracks and wonders what the heck brought her to this garden.
While she walks through the garden, she must learn to identify the different kinds of flowers, plants, trees, and herbs. These items will help her on her witch hunt. Learning to identify these items will give her the power of healing and other remedies. They will also give her the intuition of what others need and want. The spell that was cast upon her, wasn't effective to make her a bad witch like Circa. This spell gave her powers to do nice things for people. Raven must master the craft that she's given in order to protect her loved ones, the garden will lead her to believe in the good once she has all faith in her abilities. When she starts to feel a connection to the garden, she will then find the item that is needed to continue her powers of good! But first, she must find the faith inside of her body, then the rest will come out all good things.
Deep into the garden she finds a bench, the bench is sitting between two large trees that stand tall, small bushes are behind the bench, and many different flowers on each side of the bench. Raven sits down on the bench and ponders about what has drawn her here, why is she inside a garden that's not your normal garden? She leans back, crosses her legs, and puts her hand on her lips. She starts thinking about what she read in the book of spells. She kept going over and over what she had read because she felt that she was missing something. She read the first few chapters quickly, so now she keeps going over it, trying to think of what she is missing.
She remembers that she read something about Wicca. She knows that Wicca is a certain religion that some witches have, so now she starts to gain more faith than she had. She stood up quickly from the bench and raced home to read what Wicca really means so she can understand what was happening to her.
As soon as she arrived home, she went straight up to her bedroom and flipped open the book of spells. She flipped to the chapter on religion. The chapter explains that Wicca is a natural-based belief system that worships nature. After she read that part, she understood why she was led to the garden. She is understanding more and more about what is happening to her, and now she is beginning to gain immense faith in her being and the world around her.
She must tell the other witches because everyone should know about each other while in their circle. She still doesn't know what had happened to Circa. Raven becomes determined to find out where she has gone and what she is up to. She has a sense that's telling her, Circa is up to no good, so now, it's up to her to save her from being a bad witch, and if her feelings are right, she will do what she must do to cast a spell on her friend to become who she was.
For a moment she had a sudden thought that she was living in one big dream, even though she knows it was not, she just has to get used to the new world she lives in. The next thing she must do is find out from Allison and Melissa if they tried to cast any spells on anyone. Melissa is the arrogant one, she's sure she's already tired, but she's not sure about Allison. Right as she picked up her phone to call them for a meeting, Melissa was calling her. When Raven answered the phone, Melissa loudly said, "Raven. OMG. This is awesome!" "What? What is awesome?" Raven asked. "These new powers," Melissa replied.
