Sam's adopted father was a former ruler of demon kingdom during the war and his adopted mother was an elf hero who tried to stop his father for the future of Mitral continent.
Sam doesn't know how this happened because it seems that they were trying to hide the whole truth from him.
The reason why they adopted sam was because it was impossible for have child between different races.
Sam is now 2 years old and can talk also walk on his own. His father was little disappointed because demons learn to walk a week after being born but didn't force sam. Derek is happy spending time with his child.
Now sam can walk and wanted to explore this new world more. He figure out the layout of the house after a week and found out that it was a small wooden house s rounded by thick forest.
Derek would hunt daily for animals and sam started to follow him into the forest everyday, of course he wouldn't let sam hunt because he was young and that slow down Derek's phase by lot. Because Derek always held him in his left arm.
But Derek always enjoyed sam's company.He always give full credit of hunting to sam. Sam also put up fake face of smile with pride to hide his true age to stay away from trouble.
Marie on the other hand tell him basics of the mana core of elfs and details about various magic beasts. They are more or less normal animals who develop after they get certain nutrients mostly by eating different types of animals, sometimes eating their own species.( kinda gross )
He got his lessons before [you know that thing. (•) (•) , I always find it embarrassing to write it ] He figured out that he was a special case that every MC is. But it is not a good thing because for his case his black flames slowly burning his own mana core, not at fast rate because it's not developed much.
Both of always tried to not show their worries but sam is not a kid ( mentally)
He always have a burning feeling near his heart.
After a year later he knew how to tackle every magic beast in this forest, in the theory that is. Everything else is same but he sometimes helps Marie in house chores.
He got to know about that their are four exits to the forest but didn't focus much because he was enjoying his new life very much. He only had three dreams in his past life :
* Have a lovely wife and twin kids
* To live a quiet and peaceful life
* And to die in natural cycle of life and death
So it was a good start.
