Author's POV
They wanted to surprise Sara, so Vaidehi took food tray and went to Sara's room, while they both followed her.
Minnie and Ash couldn't stop laughing thinking about Sara's reaction when she will see them.
Vaidehi was standing outside the door and pushed open door and saw Sara laying on the bed. Vaidehi took a step forward and behind her came Minnie and Ash. She got up from the bed abruptly.
Sara was surprised to see both of them here. Especially Ash!!. She did not expect Ash to come home looking for her.
Sara's eyes were filled with happy tears. She was so lucky to have them in her life. She did not talk to them for a day and here they were standing in her room.
Sara jumped from the bed and embraced her in a warm hug. She was more than happy now. She has people who care about her. She is lucky.
After a minute she separated from Minnie and then looked at Ash and smiled.
Vaidehi left the room leaving food tray on the table.
As soon as Vaidehi left, Minnie went to lock the door, Ash pulled Sara and hugged her in a bone crushing hug.
Sara was surprised by his actions, it was sudden, she did not expect it. She hugged him back by encircling her hands on his neck. She needed it. She was disturbed after yesterday's incident. She wanted to cry. She needed to shoulder to lean on. Soon Sara started to cry like a small baby in his arms. She was melting in his arms.
She was weeping. He knew she was not fine. So he consoled her. He patted her head and then he moved his hands to her back and consoled her.
They stayed like that for some minutes. And then he released her from his hug.
Minnie was watching both of them silently, she was happy for Sara. But Minnie was wondering why did Sara cry like this? What happened to her?
Noah's POV
My bodyguards informed me that Sara hasn't left her home yet, so i drove to her company and had chat with Mr. John.
She was not in company either. Where did she go, she's being disobedient lately. I'll have to teach her to be obedient.
I was seated with Mr. John in his cabin, talking about business and Sara. To be more precise, i was asking about her, he was answering my questions.
He told me many things about her, among them which got my attention was, she's punctual at work. She doesn't talk to anyone here unless work demands.
Why did she not come to work today? Where the hell did she disappear? Fuck off!!!!
I called to my men again and asked whether she left her home or did she come to home from outside, they said no but they informed me that Minnie came to her home with some boy. Maybe her lover or boyfriend.
It was nearly 11 when Sara called Mr. John.
I asked him to turn on speaker and he did, her voice was dull, because of cold.
She said she had fever so she couldn't come to work, and apologized for not informing him before hand. I signalled him to excuse her, he did exactly what i asked him to do. She then hung up. This explains Minnie's visit to her home.
Who asked her to drench in rain, fuck she has got fever now. She's acting like a kid. I was fucking angry on her. I clenched my jaw, fuck off...... I need some space. I have already discussed my plan with Mr. John so i left early.
I drove my car to my company and then went to Mike's cabin. I need to discuss my plan with him.
I can make her mine with this plan, atleast she'll be with me all the time.
I smirked at my own plan and went to his cabin to discuss my plan.
Sara's POV
I was happy to see both of them, especially Ash, i never ever expected he would come to my home.
First i hugged Minnie, it was a warm hug.
After my left, Ash pulled me towards him and hugged me tightly, i hugged him back and started to cry in his arms.
I needed this hug. I wanted someone to console me even without me saying anything. I was tired of all these recent happenings. It's too much for me to take. All these unknown people are disgusting. I just wanted this comfort. It's not that, my mom or my sister doesn't understand me, they will understand me. But the problem is, I can't make her worried about me. My mom is worried about the loan, Arohi is still a kid, I can't say her anything like this.
I was crying like a small baby, I was hiccuping and crying and the same time. Ash, slowly patted my back and consoled me. He is my peace.
I just wanna spend my life with him, he is my happy place. I'm melting in his arms.
We stayed hugging for few minutes and then he released me.
I was looking down. Ash raised my chin with his hand and held my face with both of his hands. I was looking at him, he was looking at me. Our eyes connected. We were just looking at each other. He slowly brought his face closer to mine. Our breaths mingled with each other. He brought his lips on my forehead and kissed me there. He kissed me on my forehead. I closed my eyes to feel this moment. I did not move an inch, because i like him, because he respects me, he is gentle and he never forces himself on me.
“Ha-ha-ha,” Minnie coughed fakely. We were lost. To bring us to this universe, she faked cough.
We both stood properly, I was blushing, God, Minnie alone is enough to make me embarassed like hell.
Ash smiled showing his perfect teeths, Minnie was laughing like devil.
“Someone is blushing....” Minnie said looking at me, and Ash.
I rolled my eyes at her. She stopped laughing.
“I'm not blushing Minnie, stop talking nonsense.” i said faking anger. Ash winked at me.
“I did not mention your name, someone is guilty....” she said and burst out laughing.
I pouted looking at Ash and Minnie, Ash saw me and then “ Don't tease her Minnie, she is making cute faces I can't resist...” Ash
“Okay enough, Sara, don't you think you have something to explain?” Minnie asked me crooking her eyebrows at me. We three members sat on my bed and they both started looking at me.
Both of them were looking at me like i am a culprit. Maybe i did something wrong. I haven't called them from yesterday, oh shit!
“What happened yesterday? Why you did not pick any our calls, why you did not call back?” Ash questioned me in a very serious tone. His eyes were fill with anger. Those black pair of eyes were demanding an answer from me.
This is the first time Ashish speaking to me in this tone. He was never angry at me before, this Ash is new to me. I'm familiar with gentle and caring Ash not this Angry young man.
His sudden change in behaviour did not go well with me, my face became red, my eyes were welled with tears, tip of my nose was red too.
“Sara!” he said my name more like an order. I looked at him with my tear filled eyes. He looked at me and softened his expressions. drop after drop of tears started to fall from my eyes, Ash wiped my tears gently and patted my cheeks.
Why am i crying so much? because you have had enough yesterday.
“I left to home early, i was waiting for bus, but it started to rain, I saw an old man walking in rain without umbrella so i gave him mine, and got drenched only for 10 minutes that's all.” i explained them like a small baby reporting to his parents.
“After that i came to home, I had very bad headache so i slept early, i woke up in the morning but couldn't open my eyes, so i slept again. After waking up i got to know i had fever, first thing i did is, i called Mr. John. I did not see any notifications.” I explained them in a small tone.
They were just looking at me silently. So i continued,
“I'm sorry Ash, sorry Minnie, i did not mean to worry you both, i was really tired.” i said and looked down.
They were still silent. After a minute of killing silence, Minnie spoke first.
“it's okay, i knew you would never do it on purpose, but Jesus, i was scared to death, if not vai mom said you reached home safely, i would have started to search for you.” she said in one go. It was care and concern about me that they're angry on me.
I smiled at her. She kissed me on my cheeks.
Ashish was still silent, did he get to know i lied, i purposefully did not say anything about that blue eyes man. What should i say, how should i say! No Ash couldn't have seen me, I hope so.
My chain of thoughts broke when Ashish cleared his throat. He is finally gonna speak now.
“Sara, i trust you. I really do. I know you would never purposefully avoid me, or ignore my calls, but atleast you could have texted me, i was going crazy yesterday. If not Minnie informed me about you i don't know what i would do, I was really worried about you.” he said in a calm tone but he was not so calm.
I nodded simply, he continued,
“ Do not ever repeat this, i swear I'll not let it slide next time, I am really angry you know?” he asked me in a serious tone. He just warned me.
