Sara's POV
He warned me, it's for the first time ever Ash raised his voice against me. I felt bad. I looked down and was fidgeting with my fingers. I had tears in my eyes. I don't want those tears to fall now, I don't want it. That's all.
I was still looking down, i do not want to face him now, he's angry and this is new to me. He was observing me, i could feel his eyes on me.
Minnie was not talking anything because he is her cousin and she knows i like him, she doesn't like to hurt me. So she's not interfering in this matter. She was busy in phone.
He removed my hands which were intertwined and then placed his hand with mine. He held my palm gently and gave a warm squeeze.
I was looking at him and he was looking at me.
“Sara, i know I'm being really rude now, I don't want to hurt you, don't cry because of me, I don't like to see you crying.” he said in a gentle tone.
He's hurt. He's sad because of me. I should have checked my phone, I shouldn't have left my company early.
I removed his hand from mine, and,
“No Ash, it was my mistake, i should have replied you, you're being reasonable, i know the reason behind your anger. I'll not do it again, hmm sorry for making you worry about me. I swear I'll never repeat that.” i said, looking into his eyes.
He was looking at me for few more seconds and then hugged me again. I did not expect it either, I froze as he moved his hands on my back softly. I placed my one hand on his shoulder and the other one on his chest to pull him, but he hugged me tightly. But still it was warm, he has no perv intentions over me.
After staying like that for few minutes he released me. He intertwined his hand with mine and started to talk about random things. Minnie joined our conversation and we spoke like for hours.
I not only forgot to eat food, but i forgot that there was food tray on the bedstand.
After sometime my mom called us for lunch, we three went down. I was really hungry so were Minnie and Ash.
We ate our lunch while discussing few things like how me and Ash became friends, How we usually hangout etc etc......
After the lunch we went back to my room and spent some good time. The whole time Ash was either looking at me or smiling at me. I just wanna eat him, he's too cute.
It was evening, we were still talking. I like being with them. Both are my happy places.
“Fine Sara, it's getting late, we will leave now, you take care.” Minne said to me.
“Okay then, pick me tomorrow, we'll talk some more” i said and winked my eyes.
“I can pick you up too!” Ash said but he sounded like a jealous boyfriend.
We both started to laugh, Ash was grinning his teeths.
“You can pick her, but i won't allow you honey!” Minnie said in a sexy tone and bit her lower lip looking at him in a sexy way.
Ash gave her a irritated look and crooked his eyebrows. We both laughed again, my cheeks were hurting because of these endless laughing, I love this pain.
“ Okay okay, Ash stop giving me this look.” Minnie said to Ash.
Ash simply nodded and came towards me, he held my hands and looked at me, his eyes held soft emotions, We were just looking at each other, he broke the silence by saying,
“Take care of yourself Sara, it was nice spending time with you here, don't forget to take tablets and also recieve my calls okay?” he said as if i always avoid his calls, so i looked at him while crooking my eyebrows at him. He smile and raised his hands and bowed to me indicating he's wrong. He's surrendering to me.
With that they left my home,i went to see them off.
I was standing near the gate and was looking at the car disappearing slowly, after it completely went out of my sight, I looked around, i saw a black SUV parked a little far from my house. No neighbours in our street use this type of posh cars, I wonder why is this car parked here.
Maybe for some business or whatever. It has nothing that do with me. And then i went inside.
Noah's POV
Mike was seated in his swivel chair and was going through some files. I went inside his cabin without knocking. He looked at me, he knows only i will do such things in this company. I sat on the couch and looked at him indicating the need to talk.
He closed the files and placed it on the table and came towards the couch and sat opposite to me.
Without wasting any time, i spoke.
“There's something you need to know!” i said looking at him intently.
“Hmmmm, well tell me.” he said observing me.
“ I have a plan regarding Sara. I just wanted to tell you about it.” i said.
“What plan?, I hope it's not something that will hurt her” he said more like complaining. Why would i hurt her. I care about her.
“Why would i hurt someone i love Mike?” i asked him in a serious tone.
“Are you sure? You won't hurt the person you love?” he is questioned me raising his eyebrows at me.
Good question it is. You cannot love anyone without hurting. When you love someone there'll be hurt. It's not something rare.
“Bitter sweet is the taste of love!” i said in a very calm tone. He looked at me in suprise.
Maybe he never expected me to talk about love. I was a man who never believed in love, but Sara is changing me. Though i am still a stranger to her, she's changing me for good. She's not a stranger to me. I know about her. I've been following her since the day i laid my eyes on her.
I started to love her from the first sight. Just a look at her, I knew i would spend rest of my life with her.
“Look, who's talking about love, It is Noah Miller, who once said Love is pure bullshit.” He said to me in a mocking tone.
“People change, so does opinions!” i replied.
He wants to start 'word war' with me, he'll lose it for sure.
“Fine, you win. Tell me your plan lover boy” he said.
I looked at him and then narrated my plan to him. He listened carefully to everything that i was saying. I completed telling my plan to him, he was not expecting it maybe or god knows what's with his expression.
He was silent for few minutes and then spoke,
“Are you sure, you wanna exhibit this plan?” he asked in a doubting tone. He's doubting my ability?
I stared at him.
“I'm damn sure about it, and i am also sure that it works.” i said confidence evident was in my voice.
“If you're sure then, There's no problem with me.” he said.
I nodded. Ofcourse my plan should work. My plans never failed. This will also not fail. If by any minute chance this plan fails, I've a backup too. So there's nothing to worry about.
“Mmm, I'll go now” i informed him, he nodded his head and i left his cabin and came to my cabin.
Author's POV
Sara was laying on her bed, her mom entered her room with coffee mugs in her hand and placed in on the bedstand and sat next to Sara.
Sara woke up and sat next to her mom, and took the coffee mug and started to sip. She is a coffee lover.
Her mom was looking at Sara and sipped her coffee.
She came to discuss about Ashish.
She wanted to ask Sara regarding their relationship.
They were silently drinking coffee, the silence was awkward. So Sara decided to break the silence,
“Maa, you wanna say or ask something?” Sara asked her mother.
“Haaa, Yes Sara.... Are you and Ashish just friends?” She asked Sara in a doubtful tone and looked at her in confusion.
Sara was expecting something like this, so she wasn't that surprised. But still she was shocked to hear this from her mom.
There's no way she will accept the truth, she will definitely lie to her. Little did she know that her one small lie could change her life completely.
“We are not just friends!!!!” said Sara to her mom, who was looking at her with a shocked expression.
“We are best friends.,” sara continued and looked at her mom, who was now smiling.
“Oh, that's fine then, don't feel bad for asking you okay?” she said in a caring tone.
Sara just nodded, they then continued talking about other stuffs and then came down to prepare dinner.
After having dinner, all three of them parted to their rooms.
Noah and Mike reached mansion a little late since they are focusing on two main things, one is Sara. The other one is Skyhawks project. So they both had to work their asses off.
After having dinner they left to their rooms.
