Thunder and lightning came crashing into the sky two days after the warnings at the land where MIR and Ayame rushed to do what they had to do. MIR was busy making sure that every innocent child, adult, and senior as well as those creatures who could no longer fight into their protective shelter - the academy.
“Is everyone secured already?” MIR sternly asked as she walked passed the hall of the academy checking every room that was filled with refugees.
“Yes, Priestess,” Ember answered while walking at the same pace as her.
“Good, make sure that all of our resources won’t fail us since this is going to be a long battle.” She nodded in understanding before adding another reminder.
“Understood.” Ember kept mentally noting it down and both of them stopped walking.
“Also, Ember, don’t forget to apply what you have learned so far and serve this incident as your last life-and-death examination. Are we clear?” MIR added a stern reminder that Ember smirked about.
