Falling into her deep thoughts, Nicole was totally thinking carefully about what Diwa told them, and with Avalyn’s presence beside her, she was calm. But her mind was giving her mixed thoughts.
“That’s hard to settle with…” Nicole sighed heavily which made Avalyn sense that her beloved mate was wavering a little to the news that they’d heard.
“...I am not sure if I could deal with it…so difficult…” she muttered to herself not even realizing that Avalyn and Diwa could hear them clearly.
“Did I hear you right?” Avalyn caught Nicole’s attention.
“What?” Nicole snapped from her trails of thoughts when she heard a very caring voice from her lover.
“Did you just doubt yourself there?” she asked once again but she pointed out what Nicole was sounding like.
“I…I’m not…sure?” Nicole responded in her doubtful voice that made Avalyn sigh and forced her beloved mate to look her way.
