Watching the beloved mate go through the strange malice swirling around the said watch tower, Avalyn was guarded and kept Nicole secure as they went inside.
“You are really welcome here, huh.” Avalyn commented as soon as they went further inside the empty tower.
“Seems like it. Did you sense the malice around here?” Nicole curiously asked while she was looking around the thickness of the malice around the entire watch tower.
“Yeah, they moved aside as you walked past them. Are you sure they were not yours?” she answered but at the same time wondered about something since the malice around moved aside when Nicole past them.
“Hm, now that you mention it, I never considered that until you mentioned it.” she just said while nodding consideration.
