Mikage was checking Avalyn’s energy flow to which her body was reacting and Nicole was being affected by Avalyn’s dark energy. Nicole was about to touch Mikage but something began to swirl around her and protect her from Nicole’s attempt.
“Stop, Mikage.” Ice coldly said to Mikage but she was not listening and went on with what she was doing over Avalyn’s sleeping body.
“Do you want to know what really happened to her?” Mikage asked her instead of giving her an answer which caught Ice’s attention.
“If you want to know about her, then don’t stop me from what I am doing. I am reading her energy flow from darkness to light. Since she was full of darkness, only you can keep it a bay since she marked you as her mate.” She let Mikage continue what she was saying and listened very carefully.
