Ayame might be sending a warning energy toward Earthern who seems to acknowledge her power but he is not being intimidated rather, feeling challenged. Earthern began by showing what he got but manipulating the earth that was surrounding them. He made sure to control the trees and attacked Ayame who quickly dodged it. But Earthern also made sure that with every landing that Ayame would make, spikes and quick mud would be there to kill, stun, or even eat her alive.
“Dammit. You’re being difficult.” Ayame clicked her tongue in annoyance since all that she could do was dodge as fast as she could but it was not enough.
‘Never underestimate the old ones that kept growing in time.’
“Since when did I underestimate your kind?” Ayame smirked since she was just playing it cool by means of pretending not to do anything against the abilities and powers of the creature. She was just studying them while preparing what counter that she could do against them.
