“So, this is his gargoyle?” Ayame guessed since the gargoyle ring showed its real form and flew around her.
‘Yes, and it seems it came to like you more than your father.’
“Where is he anyway?” she wondered.
‘Head to your mate, ask the priestess of the moon about him if you want to hear where he is.’
“Hm, sounded like he didn’t want me to find it out.” She chuckled and flicked her fingertips to open the gate to the present.
‘Maybe. Go and embrace yourself. Fly to your mate.’
“Thanks, Mom.” She thanked her mother before heading on her way back to where her priestess was waiting for her return.
As Ayame flew back to where she needed to be, the thick mist that was spreading was suddenly shaken up by the sudden changes in the air in the woods. Everyone could feel the shifting of the air and all were halted as if they were waiting to witness what creature that was coming to appear amid an alarming ruckus.
