The shrine door suddenly closed making everything dark causing Suzaku to hold onto Drew’s arm tightly. She was scared of what lay behind the darkness of their shrine. Drew, on the other hand, was starting to feel danger but at the same time fired up to kill whoever was sending threats around them.
“Why scared? You’re a shrine maiden here right?” Drew asked since she could feel Suzaku’s shaking hand around her arms.
“I’m not ascended yet. I’m still in training which I am practically not good at.” Suzaku admitted and pulled Drew’s arm closer to her body.
“Great.” She sighed as she let herself be guarded like what she could remember.
“Why do I hear sarcasm there?” Suzaku might be scared at the moment but she still managed to feel annoyed at how Drew delivered her response.
“I’m not saying anything.” Drew shook her head without realizing that she was smirking at their sudden closeness.
“Sure you did.” She pressed but Drew rolled her eyes.
