Huntsmen Quarters: Old Main Watch Tower
There was silence around the empty space of the top floor of the watch tower and only teardrops and sobbing was echoing around the space. Nicole was holding Skylar in her arms while letting her cry as if it was her first time crying.
“Don’t forget what you’ve promised to him, Skylar. Please, don’t forget that.” Nicole reminded Skylar who nodded but still cried into her arms.
“You are not alone anymore, okay?” she added and cupped Skylar’s face then nodded. Nicole smiled and wiped the remaining tears from her face before standing up.
“Let’s go home. They’re waiting for us…” Nicole said but she suddenly stopped as she recalled something.
“What? What is it?” Skylar wondered what suddenly made Nicole stop in her tracks.
“What does my cousin mean about your calling?” she turned and asked Skylar directly.
“Ohh, about that…” Skylar suddenly blushed which got Nicole curious all of a sudden.
