"Ma'am, everything is ready."
"Wow! That's a great news, May. How about our artists?"
"Yes, Ma'am. We are just waiting for you."
As her secretary answered, she stood up and prepare herself to be departed with her staffs. But before she continued, she stood still again.
"Why, Ma'am? Is there's something wrong?" her secretary immediately asked.
"No, May. I'm only that we need to have our breakfast first."
"Oh, that's great, Ma'am. Specially for you who almost skipping meals because of works. Shall I order your breakfast?"
But she didn't answer that fast. Instead she said another words.
She is her secretary when work is involved, but when it comes to health, she is her nurse. She never fail if meals are involved. She will not eat if she will not as well. She knew that she couldn't say that she treated her as more than just a boss/employee, but he could feel it. She's so lucky to have her as a companion.
"Thank you, May. I had coffee earlier with toasted bread before I showered. How about you and the rest?" She turned it around at the same time as she asked. Because that's what she's thinking.
"We're done, Ma'am. Will you bring something to the shooting site, Ma'am? If I have it, I'll bring it," she said again.
"Too bad I don't have a brother available anymore. I would like you to be a part of our family. Even in my cousin's side I can't choose anyone for you. Hmmm, you may be lucky to marry, May. Because you are so considerate." She smiled jokingly.
"Are you okay?" she asked after a while.
"You really are, Ma'am. I'm happy to be part of your theater. I won't dream of being part of the family anymore because I'm family to you. Come on Ma'am, maybe our extras will get bored and go home," she blushed.
"Sure, let's go." She followed her with a wide smile.
They kept barricading themselves on their way because they keep on joking to each other.
Left Wing Jail
"Warden, we have a visitor," the jail guard called out to the warden of the Left Wing Jail.
"And who is going to visit here at this hour? Well, the early visitor is not going to visit me but the prisoners. By the way, where are our prisoners?" the warden responded irritably.
"They won't visit anyone in the jail, Boss. Because the prisoners are at morning work. You know that at this time they are in the garden for their work. Boss, I don't think the one outside is actually a prisoner but you because It's obvious to weigh it down. If we're talking about looks alone, it's obvious that it's capable, so take it out, Boss, maybe you're the one who really needs it," insisted the jail guard.
That's why even though the warden was doing something, he stopped first and the guard's description of the person looking for him is intriguing.
While he kept looking at the clock on his arm because of waiting. He was annoyed because of waiting but he also couldn't do anything because he was the one in need. He thought he was the only one who was impatient with the warden's arrival, but it turned out that his staff was the same.
"Boss, I'm sorry for what I'm going to say but alas, if you had told us who you were, we would have been in earlier. The sneaky jail guard didn't even think of letting us in. If you had said you were a---"
"Your mouth, De Silva." He was about to cut it off when the other person interrupted.
"It's true, Boss. They might even take the lead in letting you in if you confess who you are. Boss, you probably don't know how the system works here at the Left Wing Jail," he said.
"That's why I didn't tell the guard who I am, we, because I want to do something here. We need to do it in secrecy so you two must stop complaining if you don't want me to put you in the cells inside. I don't Did you think that our mission is going nowhere when someone finds out? You two are suspicious." He shook his head calming the two as if he had a lice because he scratched his head.
The two of them could have talked but the warden they were waiting for arrived.
"B-boss, is that you? What's the problem and you came here early?" stuttered the warden's question without even waiting for the visitor to answer because he immediately turned to the guard.
"The next time they come here, you will let them in immediately. Don't you know them? You should apologize to Boss if you don't want to lose your job!" he said emphatically.
That's why the guard immediately faced the person who also waited for a few minutes because before he could speak, the Boss had preceded him.
"No, don't ask forgiveness because you did the right thing. You just did your job so nothing to worry. Just keep it up." The Boss patted the two on the shoulder.
Then, they go inside to have their formal discussion.
On the other hand, in the garden where the prisoners are scattered. They are in the garden but they are busy with something. Some are hiding in the plants, some are pulling weeds, some are talking to each other. In other words, the garden of the Left Wing Jail is the place where they can do whatever they want. There they are given freedom as prisoners even if only for a few hours.
"Boy, I've been noticing that person for a few days, always looking at you," Ron-Ron whispered to Luther.
"Who?" he immediately asked as his eyes wandered but was immediately pulled away by another friend.
"Don't stare at them, boy. They might warm to you. I guess you've been in here for a long time. Are you getting tired of your life outside?" Bong-Bong grabbed him by the shoulder probably to prevent him from turning to find out who was looking at him.
It's not a secret to them how their fellow inmates warm up their friend. But it must have been the son of some kind of weapon because no matter how many times they planned to knock it down inside the cell, it still survived. This is the hot-headed of the four but it is the one that has the ability to turn the crooked into a straight line. Sometimes they thought that this was not an ordinary person but they were blessed with just a neck.
"It's a mess you're talking to, Bro. You said that for a few days you've noticed that person always looking at Father Luther but you don't want him to look either," Mundo then said that they thought they weren't listening to them because not saying a word.
"You're right about that, Boy. Well, how do I know he's staring at me if I can't see him? Then what are you afraid of if they warm to me, you three are there, aren't you boy?" He stood up and approached Mundo but that was just his way to catch a glimpse of what Bong-Bong was talking about.
There he noticed a fellow inmate in the very corner of the Left Wing Jail. It's not new to him but he doesn't pay much attention to it and it's obvious just like others that he is interested in his fellow prisoners especially when he wants to knock someone out of the cell.
"What can you say, Boy? I mean to that person who looks like you're mad at you," said Bong-Bong who simply looked at the location of another group inside the prison.
"They are not our match, Boy. So don't lower your pride just because of that group. Even if we go in and out of jail here at least..." He returned his attention to the plant he liked to talk to!
Go ahead!
The three of them looked at each other because their friend once again uttered figurative words. But they didn't say a word or say anything because the bell rang which meant they were going back to their cells.
"Looks like they're noticing, Bossing," Romano said to him so he looked at him.
"Who? With so many of our prisoners here, do I know who is the one who can see?" Sky asked in surprise.
"As for you, Bossing. Are you spying on anyone else here besides the prison guard? As far as I know, he's the only one, Bossing?" Romano spoke again.
Hearing what he was saying came to his mind. The one in the middle of the prison or the cell that includes the man who became familiar with him even though he was only a few days inside the prison.
"Well, we can't do anything about that, Romano. Because I really want them to notice us so that we won't have a hard time talking to him," he simply said. Even in his heart, don't do it because he knows it's not time for him to face the prison guard.
Romano was about to answer even more and noticed that they would have turned to the person they were talking about when the bell symbol rang when they returned to their respective cells.
Don't be swayed based on what you see and what you hear because everything in this world can be decisive.
"Congratulations, Iha. You've done successfully again," MaCon greeted her daughter happily. They watched the personal copy of it during the recent shooting in a remote area.
"Thank you, Mommy. But it's too early for that matter. We haven't talked to the warden for the next taping yet," Mariz replied to her mother.
"You have done with the heavy part, hija. I mean one of the heaviest parts, so we are confident that you will do well in the next part. By the way, did you just say warden? Does the movie have a part that's in jail, hija?" She asked.
"Yes, Daddy. There is one, and Derek says it's in the Left Wing Jail. Why did you ask, Daddy?" she asked again and she is wondering why her asked the location of the tapings, but at the moment he asked.
"But, Hija, there are rumors all over the island that there policy there is not good, even the warden himself. Talk to the director of the shooting, maybe you can get another jail site for your taping, don't just go to the Left Wing Jail. It's dangerous there, Hija ." MaCon's opposition to her daughter's decision arises.
But for er, neither those nor the dangers caused by shooting are not new anymore. That had happened to them several times already. And by the mercy of God, they are saved. He knows and trusts the abilities of hers staff.
