“Don’t forget to mention that, William.” I whisper silently to William. A meeting is again to take place and I need to make sure that William mentions everything I tell him. He nods at my statement.
“I won’t forget it. Now leave, before anyone notices you.” he speaks and places his hand on my arm for confirmation. Exactly a moment later when those words left his mouth we heard boots clinking on the marmer floors. We saw a maid bowing and then we immediately knew who it was. Isaac. He can’t see me, he’ll immediately know that I and William have been working together.
Panic rushes on William’s face as I look around me for the easiest way to find an escape.
“Just run.” William whispers and then I knew it was too late.
“William, brother.” Isaac says nicely before his eyes set on me. “And Lady Victoria?” He states as a question. I smile at him as if nothing is going on. Isaac looks between the two of us and then his eyes set on the way William is holding my arm.
