Arren approached his father to ask for permission to visit the palace. It would be much harder, but he was determined to let his father know that this matter was urgent.
"What's the matter?" His father looked at him and asked, and the servant consciously left them to focus on what they were supposed to do.
He moved a little closer to his father and said, "Dad, I wanted to visit Spade in the palace."
Duke Evan raised his brow; he knew he was about to refuse, and Arren continued moving a little closer to his father to whisper something to him. He wanted to talk with Spade, and he was certain his father could understand why he wanted to see his alpha.
"Dad, it's really urgent," he whispered, tone solemn, and whispered something else that was only audible to his father since even though the servants were someone they could trust, the matter was sensitive.
