As they stopped at a huge door, Arren gestured for the elderly woman. Mildren looked at him with a slightly puzzled expression.
Arren smiled, understanding at a glance what she wanted to ask. "You can just meet him alone, Auntie."
Auntie Mildred was clearly taken aback by this, but Arren quickly interrupted her, who was about to say something.
His smile only widened, and he placed Mildred's hand on the door handle. He patted the back of her hand and continued, "Don't worry, Auntie. He... has been waiting to meet you."
Mildred seemed not to be aware of the weight of Arren's words yet, but she would soon understand them.
Like he said, Arren didn't enter the room and only followed Mildred's back with his gaze. A few seconds later, the door closed tightly. Arren didn't immediately leave; he stared at the closed door for a while before he turned around and left.
