This heat was different. Arren was certain that his consciousness was not being taken over by his instincts and that the initiative was wholly from himself.
Arren didn't know that something like this could happen, but both of them fell into the same situation. It seemed their emotions roused all their desires and instincts deep within them.
So even if they were currently in their heat or rut, Arren and Spade were especially aware of what was happening and what they wanted to do. The only thing that reminded them of their condition was the heat that their bodies emitted, the pheromones they exuded, and even the intense feeling that they had for each other.
Their condition only emphasized their needs and desires for each other.
As they kissed passionately, Spade began to walk through the room while holding Arren tight in his arms. When they entered the room, both of them withdrew while gasping for breath.
