Chapter 148 - Rush

Arren was dumbfounded, but he soon swallowed the lump in his throat and got off the car as well. Spade was only mad now, which was only reasonable. 

However... it still hurts to be ignored. 

Arren became gloomy at once and fell silent. He glanced at the alpha, who ordered everyone before they walked a path in the forest as cars couldn't enter inside. 

He didn't let anyone tell him what to do, and he already took the initiative to stand behind Spade, looking especially obedient. Arren was observing the alpha, but he kept his mouth shut lest he further annoyed him. 

In fact, even the royal guards with them weren't used to the 'obedient' and 'silent' Arren. It was really a rare sight. Usually, he would keep on blabbering beside Spade, but this time he didn't dare to.
