Although some words confused him, he did not respond to what Hori said. After all he had been through, he felt entitled to receive whatever words were said.
"Hori, stop saying that," Eliphas instructed, setting down her quill.
Hori responded with a disdainful "Hmph!" and then turned to Allen, pointing at him. "This kid stinks! Didn't you take a shower before coming here?"
Allen shook his head. "I came straight here after finishing the dungeon."
"Even if Eliphas lets you in, I won't let a stinky kid like you near."
Hori gestured toward the stairs leading to the second floor. "Go upstairs and take a bath first."
Allen glanced at Eliphas, asking for confirmation from him. Because he actually wanted to talk about his wish directly.
Eliphas replied with a casual smile. He didn't know what that indicated, but it seemed like he had to shower in the principal's room.
