I saw a light—a very bright light.
I walked down in the dark forest, and my eyes were drawn to a bright light ahead of me.
It was so bright that for a moment, I couldn't see anything else, but as my eyes slowly adjusted, I made out the vague shape of a person standing amidst the brilliant radiance.
Suddenly, a voice shattered the silence of the night, piercing through the blinding light.
"Mom!" it cried out, and in that moment, I knew that person was my son, my dead son.
My heart racing, I moved closer, squinting and shielding my eyes from the brightness until the figure finally became clear.
"Fenton!" I ran toward him. He was waving to me while holding a baby. Then underneath it was a basket, from which I could hear the baby crying.
"Fenton, where have you been?!" I shouted angrily.
"Hahaha, take it easy I'm happy here. How's mom? Are you okay?"
