Jane was not an enchanter, her main skill was a vanguard-assassin class, short sword skills, and the ability to hide her presence. It was also not a skill she was born with, it was a skill she honed to kill Allen, and she succeeded. Her unyielding determination, transformed by mana, garnered a divine blessing that allowed her to momentarily vanish from existence.
Although she wasn't an enchanter, she entered the enchanter faculty, and still managed to get into the third altar in her first year. The reason she joined the faculty was because she thought Allen would enter the faculty as Felicia's knight; in fact Allen had to, but he entered the fighter faculty without being able to choose.
Though the inability to keep a constant eye on Allen might have unnerved her, Jane embraced gratitude during those moments. Gratitude for the serendipity that placed her in the same class as Felicia and afforded her the opportunity to stand in for Allen, ensuring Felicia's protection.
